Soul Journey - Part 1: Soul in the Astral World and Subtle Realms

This article is a working hypothesis around how souls evolve based on various Near Death Experience (NDE) accounts, the Akashic Records theory, my independent observations around birth-time energy lock, scriptures, and the theory of lokas and galaxies.

Part 1: Understanding a Soul journey in the Astral World - A very high conceptual viewpoint.

• What is a soul? We all at energetic levels have something within us called 'soul'. Consider as one individual energy unit. Before taking birth on this physical realm/Earth, the soul lives as energy body in subtle worlds.

• Where do they live before incarnation/embodiment? Souls have different levels of frequencies and live in a subtle world/realm based on their frequency. Imagine them living together at a subtle level where they are with other souls of similar frequency. There is a lot of love, compassion, and happiness in those subtle worlds.

  A soul can choose to remain there for some time OR aspire to evolve to a higher frequency, an elevated level and eventually merging into supreme love and the Supreme Being.

• Why are they at different levels? By virtue of the weight they carry through their journey of multiple lifetimes.

• What determines weight? Their samskaras—or call it the energetic exchanges and actions they have accrued over lifetimes. The lighter the things they carry energetically, the closer they are to the One. Those are the levels.

• Why would they want to move up and merge? That is the goal of every single bit of energy and soul in this world and beyond. Every soul has come out of the Whole and wants to move back to the Whole.

• Why would they stay at a certain level? Because they might have just finished a tough life, a tough journey, and are just resting. After a while, most of them feel the need to grow and merge into the One.

• So, how do they move up? This is the crux. They choose embodiment. They have to work through energy traps (called samskaras).

• What are samskaras? Things, events, scars, praises, attachments—anything that binds and traps energy in a loop.

• But how do they work through this? They go into a joint review and decide what all they want to process in their next embodied lifetime.

  Believe it or not—they work with masters, guides, and sometimes even family unit souls to pick the battles they want to fight and resolve during their next lifetime. Think of it as an agreement, a contract between the soul and higher beings. Not only that—they make choices like their partners, life events, conditions, health, accidents, how they want to look, where they want to be, and all that you can imagine.

• What happens after that? The wait for the right set of parents, time, and cosmic conditions are all worked out.

• What determines the right timing? Planetary alignments are the biggest factor (connecting to Vedic Astrology).

• What happens next? They are born, and all these memories are mostly wiped clean.

• Why clean up past life memories? They would interfere with learning lessons and working through them. Think of leaving your kids in playschool—life is a graduation school for souls.

• Wait—so how much of what happens in this life is pre-decided? How much free will does the soul have as an embodiment and beyond life on this Earth? That one is for another time, along with what is reported to happen after this life.
